I do have a Mikrotik test env but it's got a RB2011 MIPSBE router in it which doesn't support The Dude. The Mesh Enabler for 20 adds the ability to post process the imported mesh data to convert the mesh. In addition to Catia files, Inventor 2013 can import mesh data from STL files and from JT files. As shipped, Inventor 2012 can import mesh data from Catia files. Got the networks, firewall, NAT, IPSec tunnels, PPP, all already configured. The Mesh Enabler enables Inventor users to work with imported Mesh data. Still don't really feel like resetting it all the way to blank slate.
The network is currently under development so this was just a part of the process. It's not a live env as in users are actively connected to it and getting internet access through it. You can try it on some other device, dedicated for the dude server only: for example on hEX, or on CHR running on some virtualisation platform.Īnyway it's not a good idea to test something on a machine working in live environment.
Mesh enabler installed but not working install#
I click install and the icon goes away for 3 seconds then comes back saying the add on is ready to install. When I go to manage games it says I have the season pass and gives me the option to install. I then did a complete power off and restart of console, which didn't work. If the Dude tab does not appear, that means something is definitely wrong. Ya ever since 1230 I reinstalled the game, which didn't work. To download the appropriate object enabler: Navigate to Autodesk Knowledge Network.
For non-Autodesk object enablers, the Proxy Information window that appears in AutoCAD when opening a drawing should show the company and its web address to acquire the object enabler. Such a shame, I would really love to test out the features The Dude has to offer. Object enablers installed for AutoCAD will apply to all AutoCAD-based software.
